Charge d'affaires Qu Guangzhou warmly welcomed the Nanjing Little Red Flower Art Troupe to New Zealand and congratulated the children for their successful first show in Wellington on the evening of December 4. Charge d'affaires Qu noted that the performance of the Little Red Flower Art Troupe not only showcased the exquisite artistry of children's art troupe in China, but also demonstrated a positive spirit, reflecting the abundant spiritual and cultural life of Chinese children. The performance narrowed the cultural distance between the two countries and was helpful to further advance bilateral cultural exchanges and cooperation.
Jiao Yunhua, Deputy Inspector of the Nanjing Culture, Radio, Press and Publication Bureau, expressed her gratitude towards the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand for its warm hospitality. Ms Jiao noted that the Nanjing Little Red Flower Art Troupe had been established for 60 years and had traveled to many countries for exchange visits. The Art Troupe hopes to make more friends, showcase Chinese culture and learn about New Zealand culture through the visiting performance.
