   Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in New Zealand, the Cook Islands and Niue.

   New Zealand, the Cook Islands and Niue, with their beautiful scenery, unique culture and friendly people, are important countries in the South Pacific. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, with the joint efforts of all parties concerned, China's relationship with these countries have continuously improved. China-New Zealand relationship has become a model for China's relations with Western developed countries. The Cook Islands and Niue have become China's good friends and good partners in the South Pacific.

   China stays on the path of peaceful development and pursues a mutually beneficial strategy of opening up. China will continue its efforts to safeguard world peace, contribute to global development, and uphold international order. On the basis of the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, China is willing to strengthen mutual trust and deepen its cooperation with New Zealand, the Cook Islands and Niue. We are committed to further advancing China-New Zealand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and to further improving friendly cooperation between China and the Cook Islands and Niue respectively, with the aim of makng new contributions to the peace, stability and prosperity of the region and the world as a whole.

   I hope this website can serve as a window for friends from the wider community to understand China and its relations with New Zealand, the Cook Islands and Niue, as well as a bridge between overseas Chinese and the motherland.
