Ambassador Wang Lutong meets with a delegation from Hong Kong Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau

On the morning of September 22, Ambassador Wang Lutong met with Raymond Tam Chi-yuen, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, HKSAR and the delegation members visiting New Zealand in the Chinese Embassy.

Secretary Tam conveyed greetings to Ambassador Wang from Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying and the Hong Kong SAR Government, expressing their gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for the efforts rendered towards the promotion of cooperation between Hong Kong and New Zealand in various fields. Secretary Tam briefed Ambassador Wang on cooperation development between Hong Kong and New Zealand in the fields of trade and investment.

On behalf of the Chinese Embassy, Ambassador Wang welcomed the HKSAR delegation on their visit to New Zealand. Ambassador Wang noted that China – New Zealand relations have developed smoothly in recent years with bilateral cooperation thriving in various fields, including trade, investment, tourism, culture and education. The Chinese Embassy is willing to assist the HKSAR to further exchanges with New Zealand in various fields.

Secretary Tam briefed Ambassador Wang on the social and economic development of the HKSAR.
