On 14 July, Political Counsellor Fang Qiu met with the delegation of China-NZ Youth Leadership Exchange Program of Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) . Both sides exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral cultural exchange and cooperation. Ms. Yuan Yuan, Director of Cultural Division was present at the meeting.

CPAFFC and NZ-Asia Foundation formally signed an agreement on China-NZ Youth Leadership Exchange Programme in 2010. Up to now, there have been five youth delegations from China and NZ which made successful visits to each other's country.
