In accordance with the arrangement set by the Chinese government, starting from 15 June 2023, The Consulate General in Auckland and the Consulate General in Christchurch have officially launched the online visa application(http://consular.mfa.gov.cn/VISA/). Please visit the website for more information. Also, starting from today, the Consulate-General in Auckland and Christchurch will no longer use the "China Online Visa Application System" and the "China Online Visa Appointment System". Visa appointments which have been made previously will remain valid.

Due to technical reasons, the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand will temporarily continue to use the existing visa application system, through the "China Online Visa Application System" (https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn) and the "China Online Visa Appointment System" (https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn) for Chinese visa application.
